Our purpose is to promote the welfare of all people with Prader-Willi Syndrome as well as to provide support and information to them, their families, and others that are concerned with PWS.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Tennessee Prader-Willi Association is to improve the lives of everyone affected by Prader-Willi syndrome through Support, Awareness, Education, Advocacy, and Research.
Our Vision Statement
Provide families and professionals with a support network, resources, and information in their communities.
Promote and raise funds to assist with development of a community for adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome in Tennessee.
Raise awareness and educate families and professionals by meeting the needs of those affected with Prader-Willi Syndrome by organizing parent and professional workshops and training.
Advocate for persons with Prader-Willi Syndrome and improve their quality of life by partnering with agencies like TN Disability Coalition and the ARC of TN.
Promote research for treatment of Prader-Willi Syndrome both locally, at Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, and nationally.
